Does your bookshelf need an update?

We can be happier when we see positive change in society, however little it may seem.  I want to drive a positive change in my local community through this website through the simple act of book sharing, books that are already on your bookshelf never being read and gathering dust.  This is my first step in contributing to positive change.

It’s not just about sharing books but also encouraging the  exchange of thoughts and ideas with your neighbours through books.  Who knows what bigger change we can bring to the local community through the exchange of ideas!

There are various book exchange sites facilitating people to share and exchange books on the internet.  These book exchange sites are usually based on point systems to ensure fair value is received for the sender and the receiver and the delivery mechanism is through the post.

But this site is not about exchange of the actual value of the book, but rather the exchange of ideas and thoughts which could add value to your life.

So welcome to the LOCAL BOOK SHARING.

Meet your neighbours in the local cafe or pub, exchange books and your thoughts and make friends!

Happy sharing!
